NEW CAR!!!!

I got a 2004 Chevy Trailblazer LS, it has a straight 6 :) I never thought I would own an american car (I don't consider Jeep american because it's dependable and will last forever, people might hate me for that, but I think it's true) Anyhow, I can consider myself a proud owner of this vehicle. I love the way it drives, and looks for that matter. And it has a sunroof, and comes with XM (although we pay for serious, of course!) anyhow, thought I'd share that. Oh, and someone keyed it the first time I drove it to work. F)(*&*( Middletown.

Writer's Block: It's Too Late to Apologize

Has anyone ever done something so horrible to you that "I'm sorry" couldn't fix it?

How about my s/o of 7 years didn't get me anything for christmas? Yeah, that's pretty unforgivable.

I've known this all along...

You Belong in the Baby Boomer Generation

You fit in best with people born between 1943 and 1960.

You are optimistic, rebellious, and even a little self centered.

You still believe that you will change the world.

You detest authority and rules. Deep down, you're a non conformist.

I'm alive

So it's been almost 3 1/2 months since I've updated, because I've had no computer. It died a slow, painful, and expected death. So my mom just sent me a refurbished apple ibook, with the expectation that I will spend the money I owe her for it on a trip out to san diego.
My only problem is that an apple is awfully different than a pc. i have no right click, and it's only single click, not double. My biggest issue at the moment is that I have to get my wireless to work. I can't remember a password that I"m supposed to (I thought it was two of my most used passwords together- it's not) and It's going to be a while until that's all fixed. Main point is, that I'm back, I can start checking stuff again, and it will be a while until I get familiar with the photo stuff and everything.
I'll update later

It's been a long time

I haven't posted in forever. That's because I have no time to myself anymore! If I'm not working, I'm cleaning, taking care of the kids, doing errands...I just don't stop. I barely have time to check my email. I feel like I'm working WAY more than 36 hours a week, I think that's because waking up at 5 30 and working until 3 30 wipes me out. By the time I get home after picking up the kids it's a little after 4, then it's dinner, baths, a little tv to relax, and then bed. I desperately look forward to my days off, which are few & far between. Remember, I work every other weekend, so I get a day off during the week and then a weekend day. Unless it's my weekend off, I don't get two days off in a row. Oh well, that's life. I wanted to work in a hospital. Once I get into the ED (I start in Marlborough on Monday!!!) after I get my permanent position I'll be every third weekend. Anyhow, I uploaded pics of the kids, and I'll put them behind a cut because it's picture H-E-A-V-Y (I narrowed from 20 to 10!!)...

I have to say, I think I have pretty adorable kids =)

Jul. 23rd, 2007

Justin took me to Maine for the weekend for my birthday. We stayed at a resort that was straight out of Dirty Dancing (http://www.sebasco.com) except for the fact that it's on the coast of ME. But they have scheduled things like bocce, and croquet, and dinner in the main lodge. It was quiet & relaxing. He even paid for the greatest facial ever (no guys, not THAT kind) at the spa that was on the grounds. The kids were good, it took a lot of out of Cailin. She did a lot of walking, she went swimming in the ocean for the first time at a state park. sorry, i'm too lazy to make the links. http://www.maine.gov/cgi-bin/doc/parks/find_one_name.pl?park_id=22
We had friends that had a cabin in the vicinity so we hung out at their place too and hiked & fished & stuff like that. I had initially thought we were going to the cabin to camp, but was surprised by the resort. It's been a long time since Justin has done something nice for me, and it was really nice. On the way home we saw this...thank goodness it was on the other side of the highway- http://www.townonline.com/acton/homepage/x206351133

edit: the resort is pet friendly!!!!
Thanks nursebadass

Oh yeah, and I use Downy Vanilla & Lavendar fabric softener (Tide detergent) I'm pretty sure that's what made the Boppy covers smell so good. I'm addicted to the stuff. I use both the liquid & the dryer sheets! When Cailin was first born I used Tide Free & no softener for her clothes. Then as my step mom pointed out...if she doesn't have a reaction from laying on me (therefore my clothes) or laying in my bed, then she won't have a reaction if I were to wash her clothes in the same thing I wash my clothes in. So I jumped right into washing Riders clothes the same way I wash mine, and there's no problems. Thank goodness, I love the way that stuff smells, and when it's mixed with his babysmell, it's to die for!!! Thanks again, we love it!!
